My Approach
Today’s patients need more information than ever before to feel confident moving forward with treatment. Most patients don’t know the technical difference between good dentistry and bad dentistry — what they remember most is how they felt during the appointment. Did they feel understood? Did they trust the recommendation? Did the plan make sense to them?
Dentists cannot do everything, and their time is best spent providing clinical care.
My approach focuses on empowering the entire dental team. When team members understand the why behind treatment, they can communicate with clarity, support the diagnosis, and help patients connect their oral health goals with the treatment being recommended.
When the whole team is aligned, patients feel more informed, more comfortable asking questions, and more confident in their decisions.
Building trust and value is one of the most challenging parts of dentistry — but it is also one of the most important. By strengthening communication and elevating team education, practices can create an environment where patients truly understand their care and feel confident moving forward with the treatment they need.
